Ok so long story short, i was given a car for free by my friends parents. Although i am very thankful and appreciate their efforts, things have changed. I did live with them but i moved out when we got into a big argument. They are now trying to say they will take me to court if i do not give them back the car. We never had a written agreement or any agreement for me to pay them back, they told me the car was a gift and i could have it. Also, the car title is in MY name and no lienholder. I am just wondering for court sake ( if we have to really go ) what to expect and will i be ok?
