Car tire on my Road King

I'm new to this forum, but not new to "The Darkside." I owned a Goldwing and put a car tire on that bike. My Darkside member number was 56, a very early believer. As you know, the new Goldwings weigh upwards to 925 pounds. At that weight and 22 pounds of air, the bike rode like a dream. Cornering was not a problem. When taking the advance riders course, I was scraping pegs and felt more comfortable that with the moto-tire.

Just to be clear, this is just my opinion. With my Ultra Classic, I will entertain placing a car tire on my bike when I wear out the moto-tire.

Go ahead. I bet you don't get more than 1-2k miles out of 'em.

Why would you downgrade like that anyway? Why don't you go ahead and put bicycle tires on it with 27" rims while you're at it?

Man, There were alot of us went to the Darkside on metric bikes. I had just bought another 205/70/15 to go on my honda before I traded it in on my Ultra.

Folks,

I'll be out of the net for a few days, I was going to Arizona because of sickness of a family member, but now its imminent death. I just loaded my bike on the trailer, and now I am packing my stuff. I am going to drive all nite, and try to make it on time.
Yep, not easy getting out of Texas, lol.

Regards,
