So.. I was driving home and going about 65 on the free way. Out of no where I felt the gas pedal stop working and the car stopped accelerating. I thought a belt had snapped or something and pulled over to look at it. I couldn't find anything wrong. So i started the car up. Started up just fine, no funny noises. I put it in drive and just let it drift forward a bit and it does it again. No lights on the dashboard for anything being wrong. I decide to try one last time after I called a friend for help. Put it in drive and acelerate to 55 mph. It runs normal for a couple miles and then kicks out again but only for about two seconds and the car accelerates again. Any ideas? It drove all the way home by the way. No issues, I live about 20 miles away.
