okay i bought a new (used) car, and this guy said the stereo DID work. atleast at one point. what im getting is the LED for the radio, station, and like different things i can press on it. i can seek stations. only problem is there is absolutely no sound, no static, nothing. not even the slightest feedback. we took it out and it looks like it was all hooked up, nothing loose or damaged. its a 1988 lincoln mark vii. so ive come to the conclusion its either A. a fuse (confusing because the LED is on) B. the amp is bad? (it has a stock amp) or C. its the radio itself, maybe its not...putting out.
any ideas? i havent had time to check all the fuses yet, but theres one for the amp and ones in the wiring leading away, all are good.
and yes the amp is all wired too.
AND before anyone asks yes, i messed with the volume knob up and down, treb, bass, and balances, jack squat.
AND for indian tech support, yes its powered on, and my car is running when i try (ive tried acc too)
