car stereo wiring help?

I have an Alpine X001, i have had it installed for a while but the damm thing doesnt switch itself off when keys are removed from my ignition. I have already switched the red/yellow cables and tried every possible combination but its driving me up the wall now. Memory works fine on it. PLEASE HELP, its fitted in a Paugeot 307
 
It wouldn;t be a grounding problem, Something is messing around with your Ignition wires, Sounds like the ignition wire, which powers the stereo when the ignitions on, has been switched with a full time power wire, check both wires with ignition on and off to see which one gets power full time or when the car is on, And then you'll be able to sort it out, if not, head to an auto elec.
