So i have a car with an aftermarket stereo that was installed by a non-professional before i bought the car. I was just wondering why it works for a few hours, and then stops working for a few days. The power on the stereo works, and it looks like its working but there is no sound. It is not on mute and the volume is up. I checked for loose connections last summer. So what makes it work some time and not others. My only other guess would be a fuse, but this seems incorrect because it would not work at all if a fuse was bad. Any suggestions would help.
