I drove to school today my car was acting great no problems . I park it for two and a half hours, i come back it's drive good for 2 min. It's cloudy and dark out so i put on my running lights and my check engine light came on for 1/2 second then went away. I turned the lights off and the radio cuts off for a second. Then the engine light comes back on for 1/2 second again. It does this for 3 more tries than goes away and acts normal. So i pull over park it and turn it off. Turn it back on no problems. I come to a stop sign in 1st gear i stop like i normally do with my foot all the way down on the clutch and the car shuts off no warning just shuts off. I start it back up, it fired up pretty quickly. I drive 3 mins later come to another red light put it in Neutral and the car idles low and shuts off again. I start it back up now i'am by my house so i go to the playground to test it i came to a stop sign i felt it trying to shut off and i kept the idle above 1RPM. I drive around the corner to my house pull up, put on the parking brake and put it in neutral and take my foot of the clutch and the engine acts fine. I leave it like that for 30 seconds with no problem, when before once i came to a complete stop it shut off instantly. Sorry so long but i just wanted to includ every detail. I just need help with the engine light/radio and the car stalling
It's a 1989 Firebird V6 Manual 2.8L with 164,294 miles on it no accidents. The gas was almost on empty and the when i checked the oil acouple of days ago it was a pitch black this could help but i want opions from experts like you guys. Thanks
