When i put my car in drive, i take my foot on the break and without putting any pressure on the gas the car picks up to about 11 mph. Is this a problem or is it normal? It's a 5.7 v8 Firebird Formula.

sounds like your idle might be too high.. A car shouldn't be able to cruise at 11 MPH with no throttle pressure.

well, your idle air control could be setting a high rpm for your idle, but more or less its normal. most cars go up to 7 or 8 mph but 11 isnt a bad thing i suppose
