Car Sound System questions?

Ok Im planning on getting sounds in my car and I dont know nothing about this besides that you need a Subwoofer, Amp, enclosure, the cables, and a deck.

What I want to know is how much does the cables/cords cost and how much do you need?
how much cables do you need to connect the amp to the subs?
does the cords connect to the deck from the sub woofer or amp?
also I heard that I need to bring a amplifier installation kit, to the shop so they can properly install the sound system into my car, do I really need to buy one?

if u live int the uk u can get a fusion kit which includes everything wires sub amb etc and its awsum system if u wanted the speakers and shit u can get them aswel get them to install it for u thow
