there are not enough details in your story to pin point the problem, you sould go under your car and see exactly where the oil leak is coming form, with out info from where its leaking i cant help you, but most commonly its either a valve cover gasket, oil pan, or just leaky oil filter

more? I have an N reg golf, asked some questions earlier about a ticking noise which people told me could be oil....Checked and it was REALLY low (which isn't surprising as I haven't checked it for four months, I'm not good with cars) anyway, we put the oil in and it has started running a lot better and smoother.

My boyfriends dad checked the car over and he thinks there could be a leak in the radiator, what shall I do? I'm sure I have also noticed a slight oil leak underneath the car sometimes.

It is due an MOT end of March, is it worth me keeping the car and putting it through? I am moving abroad in two months and thinking of selling the car in case these are big problems. Can I even pass an MOT with these issues?

How much will it cost to get a mechanic to look at my car and possibly do a service?

How much can I get for an N reg golf with tax until June, nice looking with excellent interiors but MOT running out next month!?? I paid £400 for it and had to tax it.
