Car problems gas mileage and acceleration problems?

hello i have a 2000 nissan sentra just hit 100,000 200 miles ago and it seems since then it has problems accelerating ill give it gas and the car doesnt wanna move it will stay at like 20 miles i have to let off and give it gas a few times before it will work after that its fine any ideas/ also im only getting like 220-250 miles outa a whole tank i know a O2 sensor is bad but will a bad 02 sensor really affect the mileage that much i should be around 300-320 please help
