I have had a long and ongoing problem with driveability issues and at times non-starting.
It has now been suggested by someone (not a mechanic) that I may have a fuel pressure problem. He opened something under the bonnet and made what i think was fuel spray out. It was quite feeble and he told me that I should check properly but he thinks the pressure is abnormally low.
Could this cause the problems I am having and if so, what are the possible causes and solutions.
Note: It is a 1996 Ford Escort and I have already changed all filters (including fuel) and all the plugs and leads which has not solved anything.
Thanks in advance for your answers
