Car Problems for a 2003 Town and Country Chrysler?

Whenever I turn my van, there is a loud humming sound. I believe it might have something to do with my transmission, but my malfunction indicator light is on. Any idea what might be going on?

The car is alright in all other areas and all the fluids are topped off.
 
Best to start with a code scan, may point you in the right direction. Check your belt pulleys, the idler pulley/belt tensioner and alternator are the most common to go bad.
