Hello This is 2009 not 1991 ! I hope I dint offer you, but you will still have problem with your car unless your buy a new engine and tranmission then your car is a good shape! Because the engine you have now is old and it starting to break! A engine and tranmission will cost betwwenn $3000 to $5000 but hey it better then financed a used cars! It will be alot of cheaper!

i have just purchased a 91 jeep grand cherokee and the only problem seems to be that when i press on the gas too hard at any speed the car jerks and sort of shakes i dont know if it is serious or not but if anyone can help me that would be awesome

First off "Interstate 77 North" Is a retard. You probably have a misfire, transmission issue, or I have seen worn trailing arm bushings on the rear axle cause a hopping under acceleration. When the car is running, put it in gear and push on the brake and on the gas at the same time (dont allow the car to move though) if the jerking is happening while doing this... its most likley a mis fire..Good luck!

Sounds like fuel injector needs some serious cleaning. Take it to a shop, they have the PROPER equipment to clear the injector. You can TRY to purchase the injector cleaner, but I think this is more serious than the can/bottle solution.

Either an ignition misfire or a trans slip. Start with a tune up and or a transmission service.
