History: Just recently installed a newer engine, 70k with new water pump, and all belts were replaced.
I'm getting this loud noise, rattling, metal hitting, sharp noise... only happens when accelerating in foward only. reverse is fine, and in neutral rev-ving the engine is fine.
when in gear and coasting it is also fine no sound. I looked and can't seem to pin point where the noise is coming from. After accelerating, it seems to fade in and out, and is not exactly consistent throughout....
