I am not sure what I did. I had to replace the starter on my car and had to remove the air intake system to do it. After replacing the starter and putting the air intake system back in place I took it for a test drive and it runs fine except the gas pedal has very, very little play. There is one small hose that isn't hooked up anywhere, but I spent an hour looking for a place to put it in with no luck. It is the hose that runs along the same line as the crankcase ventilation tube (according to the Haynes book) at the front of the air intake resonator. Would this be causing my problem? Did I do something else? Any ideas? thanks.
I went back out and pressed on the gas pedal (while the car was off) and it finally depressed all the way. I started the car and the engine was revved full throttle and I immediately turned the car back off.
