Car paint color choosing?

My dad does this for a living just walk in there and walk around the car point at stuff telling them how u want it and they will understand its not rocket science you will be fine just ask questions thats all. these guys been doing that for years yours wont be the first custom job they did. Just shop around some are skilled some are not. some rip u off some don't talk to at least 3 shops.
 
I plan on getting my car painted soon, but im not sure how to tell them how I want it. I was wondering if there was a website that could give me the specific styles of the paint, also the weird names that certain paints have. This site needs to have pictures to show me what color they are and what kind of gloss they have
