I don't know whats up, I'm hoping its a thermostat issue and not the water pump.
For the last few weeks the temperature gauge goes up whenever my care is idling but when its driving it cools down again. But now it goes to 3/4 when I'm driving. And it temperature redlines during downhills but it goes back to 1/2 to 3/4 on uphill.
Any ideas why this is? And is there a test I can try before I start taking things apart?
