I have a 98 GMC Jimmy. My lower intake manifold gasket is leaking, my front right wheel bearing is loose, and my idler arm is loose. Everything else in my car is fine. I have to drive from Indiana to California but I don't want to spend the $1700 to fix my car in Indiana when I can have my dad fix it at home for me for free. Can my car make the trip? If I just get one of these issues fixed, which one?
I feel like I can just keep filling the coolant when I stop for gas...and the wheels still seem pretty good, but I can definitely hear the bearings when I make sharp turns.
