Can anyone help here?
A young driver ran me off the road over 3 months ago. They have fixed some of the problems but are refusing to fix a rear driveshaft in a differential. They claim they are not fixing this as "dont believe" there was enough imapct on the wheel to do this and my car is to be picked up. I am asking them for facts and not some assesors beliefs, ie break down the diff and check markings etc. They want to take the hire car back which will leave me carless as mine is undriveable now (after the accident - in which I was clearly driving the car).
What can i do and what rights do i have...? Can i refuse to let them pick the hire car up??
