I have a performance car that was vandalized. I called my insurance and they said theyd cover the motor. When I got the check it was based off an estimate from a junk yard. I do not want a junk yard motor as Im sure it is beat up and seeing as this is a "race" car I don't want it in it. Furthermore I have replaced the original motor so the mileage is wrong. The adjuster agreed to review it if I send the receipt for the replacement motor, which I will. My question is that if they continue to low ball me are there any specific tricks or steps that I should use during my argument?
If your going to tell me that junk yard motors are okay you need not respond, this is not a daily driver that gets you from point a to point b.
Thank you for the advice in advance!
