I am stationed in germany and moving to virginia in a month. I do not have car insurance, or a car for that matter, and never had insurance.
Background:
I grew up in Michigan and have a friend who's selling me his truck. I'm going straight to Virginia, and he is having it hauled down to my base.
Registration / Insurance:
How do I go about getting insurance for this truck, as well as registration?? Will I register it in the state of Michigan, because thats my home of record & have a Michigan license? Will I need Michigan plates, or Virginia plates??
What about insurance?? How do I go about getting that?? Can I setup an insurance plan online before I drive it? Or do I need to drive it to an insurance agency??
