Hi i live in england but my GF lives in sweden, i recently went there for 2 week which while i was there i drove her dads car everywhere we went, but i was not insured on the car i was driving.
i went to pick her brother who had been drinking up from the next town to ours but went into a taxi parking spot about 5minutes later i was pulled over by the police who were very polite.
i was worried as i didn't think u need car insurance in sweden and all they asked for was a breathalyser test and then they let me go.
Since then i have not receive anything saying im fined or whatever so now im really confused weather or not sweden has car insurance policies.
