car insurance for a 17year old girl..please help?

so im just trying to find out an estimate of how much it would cost to get insurance on a 2005 Ford Mustang. Im 17 years old and i have very good grades....my parents are freaking out saying it would be too much money. can someone help me out in price ranges please?!

Progressive.com will give you a free estimate, just put in all of your information. It will ask but you dont have to put in the vin number or your social security number.
