M mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm New member Jun 30, 2009 #1 how do you test for worn or damages motor mounts in a manual car ?
C Cecil n New member Jun 30, 2009 #2 With the car in second gear, engine running, slowly let the clutch out. Hood up of course, if the engine shifts, the mounts for the engine and the transmission need to be checked. You don't need to stall the engine, just barely engage the clutch.
