Dilema:
I was driving last night and the instrument gauges (speedometer, RPM gauge, engine lights, etc) started going crazy and then they all died. I parked and turned the car off. Then, I could not turn it back on.
We tried jumper cables...didn't work. Then we actually attached the OTHER end of the jumper cables to another battery (just kidding...we are not THAT dumb).
So jumper cables didn't work. We went to the Car Parts Store and got another battery. We installed the NEW battery and it worked. Now, the NEW battery is dying on us again.
My guess is the alternator. Any confirmation or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
