well i am going to get my license in a year. i understand buying an old car has its ups and downs and money is a definate need. however i do have a job making more than minimum wage so money isnt really the issure... to an extent. Alright, well im into 1970's chevy nova. i like anywhere from a 69-73. I have found some within my price range 8-12 thousand. i am wondering if it would be cheaper to spend around 4 thousand or so on a project car with engine and just work on it or spend around 10 thousand on one. Also, do you think that since about 99% of these cars are basically all re-done that even if the car looks great a $10,000 chevy nova is guarnteed to be a piece of **** or it will be worth it. I am very open to the idea of TLC and some extra money.
