car help, just turned 17!?

my parents leased me a jeep commander when i got my license at 16 i liked it but it consumed a lot of gas and was a little bit too big. now the lease is going to be up soon and its time to choose a new car to lease. i was thinking of getting a 2009 jeep patriot 4x4 limited. so im just wondering if this car is a good choice? and any negatives?

please do not recommend foreign cars. i support only american autos.
 
The patriot has a small back seat, not a lot of cargo room, stiff handling, a bumpy ride, and a below average MPG.

It's based off of the Dodge Caliber platform, which consumer reports does not recommend.

Overall, i'd say it's not a great car. If you want a small SUV, i'd recommend checking out a Nissan Rogue- small, fuel efficent, safe, stylish, and has a nice ride.

No foreign cars? then check out the Ford Edge and the Ford Escape. The Edge is super stylish, and offers aggresive styling and a sporty ride while the Escape is smaller, and offers a smooth ride, and is perfect for everday driving.
