Car help for cluless girl?

I have a mitsubishi magna 91 and the car keys were stolen. There is no way for me to get them back and because it is old i cant get any keys from mitsubishi. I have been told i need to replace the ignition barrel and this will come with a new car key, but how do i get a key to lock the doors? will i have to change the locks as well and have 1 key from the ignition and 1 for the locks??please help any advice would be fantastic!!xox

relax! a locksmith can cut you a new key that fits everything just like the original. you do not need to replace the ignition!

I think you will have to change the ignition barrel. you can only get a new key cut if you have the original.
