Car for a 18 year old for under £5000 inc first year insurance?
I am currently a 18 year old uk resident buying my first car but not sure what to get. Pretty much all the cars I want are out of my financial reach I have about £5000 which is about 6000 euros or $8000 or something like that.
I would like a small (not compact like the little iq car or smart car) something not too old and made for guys so nothing like a jazz or ....beetle lol.
Cars I like are the Alfa Brera, Rx8, 1.2l polo from 2010 onwards.
Audi a3 05 onwards vw scirroco etc.
Obviously these cars are too far fetched for a person like me to be able to insure or afford so using that as a guideline try recommend be a car that would be cheaper that's similar to those.
My mum or dad could be the main drivers aswell with me being the second if needed . My dads been passed for about 19 years and has a 15 year ncd I believe. My mums been passed for 13 years with a 4 year ncd but with driving offences on her name. However I talked to a few people and just for the simple fact my mums a female she would get cheaper insurance as apposed ot my dad despite here bad records.
