I brought a car in 2005, finaced for 4 years with a balloon at the end, never missed a payment, the finace was done in my fathers name and log book put in my name by the dealer. i am now near my last payment (the balloon), but some one has told me that my finance agreement is void, as the log book and the finance have different names, the dealer should have never done this and apparently i can claim all my payments back as well as keep the car.
is this correct is the re any finance experts out there that can shed some light to this problem.
