after being parked for 6 or 7 months at my dads, i decided to look into fixing my old car. on a test run i found that when you accelerate on the gas pedal, even floor it, the car speeds up soooo slowly and very slugglishly. and it kind of tops out at around 50-55, i wasnt able to go any faster becuase i dont want to try it on the expressway, as it may break down on me, either way it didnt feel like it wanted to go any much faster than that anyway.
anyway, when you come to a stop sign or a red light....u have to stop, duh! (lol) but when it came time to proceed it started up with the same routine again...gaining speed very very slowly.
anybody know what this could be?
im looking for hopefully a mechanic that knows his stuff to provide help...
