Ok, so a 1990 Toyota Camry, 4 Cylinder, i've had to temporarily fix the fresh air intake hose so I can get a new one. But the hose seems to be on there pretty good right now. Well I was driving home, and the car started to act a little funny, like it was going to stall while sitting at a red light, and it kinda jerked while going 55 mph down the straight road. I was driving up a road that's kind of a hill, and the check engine light came on and the car just stopped. I turned the car off, then started it agian, it started, but when I tried to drive it, the gas pedal just wouldnt work, and it started to roll backwards. The gas pedal just wouldn't work. Then I got it home (pushed it with another car), and tried to press the gas pedal while it was in park, and about after 10 seconds the car shuts off again. Does anybody know what might be wrong?
Car Engine Problems... Serious ones. Car shut down, and gas pedal won't work!!!?
