I have four 3 cables going into the back of my rover 200 1.1 1999 one each side and then an extra one on the right hand side to power the boot light. I put the multimeter across it and 2 volts is reading and the light isn't working but the speaker cables have 9v coming from them so if i connect them to the light it works perfect but you have to have the radio on for it to work because its obviously connected. I have speakers as well so they are using the cables now anyway. I was just wondering what could be the problem with the cable and why is so little volts coming through and how could I fix it?
