I have a 2000 VW GTI VR6. I just had a new Head put on it and now for some reason the car either has a hard time starting (Keeps turning or when i just turn the ignition it sputters then nothing). If it does in fact start it idles at first at aroune 1200 rpms then drops down to about 700 rpms then pretty much just dies. When I give it gas to try to warm it up to see if that works it goes and as soon as I let off the gas it dies again any suggestions would be great.

Sounds like it is having a problem with fuel control, or idle air control. Something may be disconnected (which should give you a check engine light) or possible you have a large vacuum leak, due to a hose, gasket, or something else. Make sure the main air hose that goes into your engine is connected, this has the MAF sensor which is very important. Have it scanned. I would take it to the mechanic that did the Head and be like WTF, because this is most likely his fault.
