before you post on this just remember, I don't car if the conversion is worth it, i'm going to do it regardless of the cost or time involved in it, i'm tired of answers that say this. I have a 1998 ford contour 2.0 and it is a front wheel drive(fwd), to get more performance out of this car I am going to be doing alot of engine upgrades to it but unfortunately all of it will not 1. fit in the engine compartment with the tranny and 2. i can't find a fwd tranny that will take the power i'm looking for. so my question is how do i go about changing a fwd car to a rwd car. this car has a uni-body design not a frame, only a sub-frame under the front.
