I just bought a new car and the breaks dont seem right. when pressing lightly they are soft and seem fine but when pushing hard they go stiff and are not so good. They also make a grinding kind of noice from the back breaks. the guy i bought it off said that its because the car had been sitting a long time and there could be erosion on the breaks. is this right?
