Car brake pedal is really soft and the hand brake dash symbol stays on. It is a Mazda protege 1998 and I had changed the brakes within the passed 2 years but I do a small amount of mileage. The brakes were working really well until there was a large amount of snow and my dad said he tried moving my car and he had a hard time in the driveway... Now the day after I tried my car and the brakes are really mushy and dont work well and the hand brake light on the dash is on even though I took off the handbrake. Anyone know what can be wrong? It was also quite cold today but last week was colder (-30C) and the brakes worked fine. I put the car in the garage for a bit and the brakes were just as bad.
