Car battery trouble: I have a 2008 mazda 3 with about 15000 miles on it. I was away

from home for 15 days? and it sat in the garage. Now it doesn't start and I dont get any power from it.I put it on a battery charger for about a day but it didnt do much Anyone have any ideas? I wouldnt think a newer car battery would die that easily

Check your cables an connections . Even one the slight bit loose will cause trouble

Get the battery checked,it could be bad. I had a new battery for 2 days,started the car twice and went bad.

Use a volt meter on the battery after you charge it. If its less than 12 volts, you need a new battery. I'd see if the battery is still warrantied too if thats the case.

Also.. Did anyone have access to drive the car while you were gone?

Change the the battery or wait a couple more days and check it again.
