I have a 92 honda hatchback and its the small thin type battery but dont
know anything more than that cause theres no info on the battery itself.

Anyhow my car battery is dead and I need to buy a battery charger. I was advised not to use a jumper as it could affect the electrical system, that and Id have to drive it around for a few hours to
charge up the battery.

However my electrical outlets output is 220v-250v 15amp. I dont
want to buy a charger, then plug it in, connect it to the
battery and something terribly goes wrong. Im also not
familiar with car battery chargers and the amp setting?

What should I do?

if you take your battery to an auto part store they'll charge it for you for free, I've heard of the risks of jump starting vehicles before....but have never had a problem doing so! another option is starting another vehicle that has a top post battery, while that car is running carefully replace that battery with yours and let it idle for a half hour so it will charge your battery, then replace the battery with that vehicles original! (just be careful to not let the terminals touch or the positive touch any steel on the body) may be common sense to some....but a flipping mystery to others!
