A 1.00cm3 sample of the acid was taken for analysis. The sample was then diluted with distilled water to give a total volume of 250cm3. A 25.0cm3 portion of the diluted acid required 20.5cm3 of a 0.048moldm-3 solution of KOH for neutralisation.
1. Write a fully balanced symbol equation for the reaction.
2. Calculate the number of moles of potassium hydroxide used.
3. Deduce the number of moles of sulphuric acid used.
4. Calculate the concentration of the diluted sulphuric acid.
4. Calculate the concentration of the original sulphuric acid.
I have done this one as best I can but just need someone to give me the correct answers and workings so that I can check I have done it right!!
