I have a car audio system with a 15" Pioneer subwoofer that plays by itself when the head unit is switched on. I was driving home from work earlier and a song on my iPod has a minutes silence in the middle and throughout the whole silence of this song the subwoofer was playing bass notes at about 1 beat every second. Strangely enough if I put my foot further onto the accelerator the beats per second increased. I did some investigating when I got home and left the head unit on and disconnected my iPod, sure enough the subwoofer continues to play by itself. Is there any way around this or to make it work properly and play the bass of the track I'm listening to?
