Okay so i jus replaced my old amp which at the time was only powering two subwoofers and everything was working fine. I replaced it with a 4 channel amp that now powers the previous subwoofers and 2 front speakers. At first, everything was working fine. The sound was really good. The next day i turned on my system, and it died within 10 seconds. I checked my amp and the red light labeled Diagnositcs was on. So i basically removed most of the wiring (power, ground, ect) and put them back into the amp. Now, the amp will power all 4 channels but the ammount of power i give to them is limited the more power i try to push it starts making a screeching noise and i know i havent fried my speakers oranything like that I know it for a fact. and whenever i start the car or shut it off i get a very loud screeeching noise. I unplugged the rca for the amp and nothing happened. I also ran the rca over the seats to make sure it wasnt getting any interference from the power wire. Could it be bad rcas? What u guys think?
Thanks for any advice.
