I have recently started looking for cars. I am extremely attracted to the Toyota Yaris S (no hatchbacks, please) based on the size, body, shape, and gas mileage...plus I have heard that Toyota is typically very reliable and cheap to fix, and that their cars last longer than most.
What I would like to know is: how well do they handle in the snow? I would definitely have to drive on snowy roads for a good portion of the year... Also, how durable are they? I know they aren't known for being all too powerful, but exactly what are the consequences of that lessened "power"? How do they handle on steep hills?
I would just like any information on reliability, durability, economy, life, power...anything, really. I know they don't have AWD, but are they still decent enough?
