I have shown a map of what happened, I'm the black vehicle, the white vehicle was not in the third lane but somehow hit the rear end of my car, where he came from I don't know, I checked both rear vision mirror and side mirror before even attempting to merge into the third lane, the conditions were wet and now this guy is blaming me for the accident. What do you say? I would appreciate anyone with a background on legal if possible or has this happened to you? What was the end result?
As it turns out as a result from this collision, both my 3 year old and myself have sustained whiplash. I'm quite upset as this man called me only yesterday, the night after the incident which occurred earlier that morning, to say he was sorry for running into me, begged me not to involve the Police and that he'd pay for the repairs. Today however there is another story, now he's accusing me of causing the collision. I am a cautious and courteous driver, and thank goodness no one was in front of my vehicle as he might had pushed me into the vehicle in front.
