So,I recently got into a good wreck when someone rear ended me. I have gone to the doctor a couple of times, and will go a couple more just to make sure I check out ok (I am still pretty sore). My question is, when the at-fault's insurance company is going to settle with me for "Pain and Suffering", I know that amount is usually somewhat based off of medical bills (I've here 2-4 times).
My question is, are we talking the actual amount of the medical bills? Or what I paid out of pocket (because I have medical insurance) ?
