I had an accident a while ago, the insurers accepted liability on my behalf without my permission and they were not supposed to be dealing with the claim either. What can I do?
The other driver turned right out of a no right turn exit into me as I was turning right (on a main road). The insurance weren't dealing with it we had gone to a solicitor as the other driver was making out that they hadn't turned out of that street and that they were travelling along the main road where I was making out that I had pulled out infront of them. The position of the cars would have been completely different if that was true. The insurance have accepted liabilty on my behalf without my permission the solicitors said that they shouldn't have done that and because they have made a mistake they are witholding information. I don't know whether to go to another company or complain to the ombudsman
