I captured what can be clearly classified as a class a evp in my house. does that mean my house is haunted?
This recording was VERY clear! We asked 1 question is there anyone who would like to talk to us left it on for maybe 30 secs and rewinded and listended. We got VERY clear answer a woman saying I dont want to and a man groaning. It was heard from across the room by my husband. Clear, VERY clear!

No, it means that the human brain is simply fantastic. We learn to interpret patterns, and draw meaning from them as a survival adaptation. This is always happening at a subconscious level. We see things in inkblots, we see things in clouds. This effect is heightened if 1) we are expecting to see/hear something, or 2) we WANT to hear something or are trying to find something.

Our natural tendency to look for patterns is heightened when we remove skepticism and introduce confirmation bias.

You hear something because you want to hear something, so you interpret random background noise in terms of "hmm, what could that be saying". This is the Ouija effect, where seemingly paranormal encounters are the product of human production.
