Can't update 3g 3.1.3 to 4.0 due to error 3194

Hi. Today I tried to update my 3G 3.1.3 to 4.0 but for some reason instead of the usual apple logo with the process bar underneath, the phone stayed black and itunes shows "unknow error 3194". But right away I restored the phone with 3.1.3 and everything just went fine.

Anyone out there encountered the same situation? Does that have anything to do with the 4.0.1 release??

GSMman187... thanks for the quick reply!! You are really awesome.... however, I'm alredy using 9.2 which I think is the most current version (or i might be wrong??!!)

apple have already stop signing for version 4.0 you cannot upgrade to 4.0 only 4.0.1 as of now...
 
WTF? coming whit security 4 flash like 3gs? and the baseband is?

Sorry for not making myself clear in the first post. When I said "upgrade" in the I acutually meant "Restore + Shift" buttons (because 4.0.1 was already released and I only wanted to go from 3.1.3 to 4.0....)

I don't have the phone with me anymore but I'm leaning towards what Romar said and think iTunes just stopped 4.0 upgrade...
