Hello. I came across this site and am glad I did.
A few months ago, I ended up in an ER b/c I had such severe lower (2/3's)back pain that I thought I might have kidney stones or a kidney infection. They did blood work and all that would be associated with said suspicion came back normal. They wanted to do an MRI, but I don't have insurance and refused. They gave me dilaudid (sic) and sent me on my way with "back spasms".
All was well until a few weeks ago. Not only was I in the process of moving, but I had begun a second job which required 4 days (in a row) standing, moving, bending, lifting bags of potting soil etc. for 6 hours, then I would head off to my second job (sitting at a desk) for 4 hours. A week into this, I had to leave the 1st job a few hours early b/c my lower back was spasming again. This was a Thursday, the last day of my 4 10 days, for a 3 day weekend. I thought "Eh. A little rest and I'll be fine." ...No. I worked the next week and it only got worse, then they (the job) fired me for the issue with my back. I laid on my back for a week.
All seemed ok with the exception of a slight pinching pain with certain movements until last night. My fiance and I went out with some frienRAB. This weekly gathering they have downtown. Requires a lot of standing and walking. I was nearly in tears a few hours in and we had to leave. The spine itself, just shear pain and the muscles seem to feel almost tired and weak and sort of inflamed. All I wanted was to just lie down. I'm fine sitting, just not standing for any length of time.
Does this sort of pain sound familiar to any of you and if so...WTH is it?!?!
Thank you for your time.
